Mallory Sub Lessons Wed April 27

I'm attending a Webmaster's workshop in Sioux City today (the one I THOUGHT I was supposed to go to last Thursday!), thank you for taking my classes.

  1. Planning Period-
  2. Independent Study (IND) Digital Photography- Madison McDunough should either upload pictures from her camera, or study the chapter in the book- Follow this link to read a little bit about lighting,http://digphoto.wikispaces.com/07+Lighting, and/or about the digital/computer aspects of photography http://digphoto.wikispaces.com/08+Digital+Photography and study for the quiz on Friday 4/29

    Please complete a Photo of the Week and look for a picture where the lighting has an impact on the mood or emotional/expressive qualities of the picture. Use the POW form- http://digphoto.wikispaces.com/Pictures+of+the+week

    WAS Due Tuesday, April 26, but Photo students went to Mapleton on the NHS service trip


    IND Ceramics- Rosario Nelson will work on her angel statue.

  3. Ceramics- Students should continue glazing or work on the year-end projects that are due May 10
    CLEAN-UP is very important, they should start at 10:57. The lid must be back on the barrel. Works in progress should be covered with plastic and in the "greenhouse" (metal cabinet in the kiln room). 
    Please close the doors to the greenhouse when they leave. 

  4. MS Art- DEAR time (silent reading) 11:29-11:49 PLEASE HAVE STUDENTS READ, SILENTLY
    Students are to glaze their clay projects which are on the island, have them return projects to the cardboard boxes on the island or to the cart for firing. Clean-up is important. Please have kids
  5. IND Drawing II- Nick Sullivan (during 4th) will continue working on his latest drawing.

  6. Yearbook -
    YrBk I students (Brian, Billy, & Kameron) should work on worksheets which I will have on the island for you.
    Please ask Austin Staley to place Senior Bios from the DI folder onto the Senior layouts so that we can finish-up those pages, as we have a deadline with 14 pages due in May. Thank You
