Mallory Sub Lessons April 6

Thank you for taking my classes today, my 9yr old has an ear infection
If I come in to school today, it will be to move pop and candy from the gym concession stand to the track concession shed.

  1. Planning Period-
  2. Independent Study (IND) Digital Photography- Madison McDunough should either work on her Photo Analysis Paper or study the chapters in the book outlined on http://digphoto.wikispaces.com
    IND Ceramics- Rosario Nelson is ahead in Ceramics, so she will go to Mr. Jordan's room to work on music.
  3. Ceramics- Students should continue working on their clay figures.
    CLEAN-UP is very important, they should start at 10:57. The lid must be back on the barrel. Works in progress should be covered with plastic and in the "greenhouse" (metal cabinet in the kiln room). Please close the doors to the greenhouse when they leave.
  4. MS Art- DEAR time (silent reading) 11:29-11:49
    Students may take about a baseball's worth of clay to make whatever they'd like. They should put them in the large cardboard box on the island when they're done. This should be something that they only get today to create, because they will have a different clay assignment on Friday. The only guideline is that it can't be thicker than their thumb if they want it to survive the kiln. Again, clean-up is important, students should start putting things away at 12:25. The lid must be on the barrel and the barrel should be rolled back into the kiln room. Please also make sure that the greenhouse doors are closed.
    IND Drawing II- Nick Sullivan (during 4th) begin working on his latest drawing.
  5. Yearbook -
    A) Students should work on their Formal Writing Project papers (Due Friday), no games, no facebook, etc.
    B) Students may also work on their layouts on yearbookavenue.com
    IND Photo- Lucas Neilson please have Lucas do the same as Maddie in 2nd Hr Digital Photo
  6. Drawing II- Students should
    A) Work on their Formal Writing Project papers (Due Friday) 
    B) Draw in their sketchbooks
    C) Work on Choice-Menu drawings, levels are on the board, menus and the books that exercises are found in are black magazine rack on the counter next to the projector.
    IND WebDesign II- Caitlin Nichols continue working on her web page with JavaScript
    IND Painting- Melissa Hanigan will continue working on her painting
  7. MS Cheer- No practice today because they should be attending the school play in the auditorium if any show up, send them to study hall
