Mallory Sub Lessons Wed Feb 12

PER 6- Ceramics
Students should fill-out self-evaluation forms for their coil pots which they build last week (I will run these off and have them on the island by their pots). When their finished, have them place them in the yellow box on the island.
Once finished with their self-evals, students should finish glazing their figures. They may also repair or re-build coil post which they are disappointed with or work on the potter's wheels. Please be sure to have them clean up beginning at 1:40pm. Extra clay needs to go back in the barrel. The cover needs to be placed tightly on the barrel to keep clay from drying out. Anyone who works on the wheels need to make sure they are cleaned up. Tools should be wiped off and returned to their carriers on the island. Glaze jars and bottles should be closed and returned to their boxes. Glaze brushes should be rinsed out and returned (handle-side down) to their coffee can on the island.

PER 7- 8th Grade Art
Students should continue working on their Edward Hopper city-scape paintings. Directions are on pages 38-39 in their Art textbooks. Please be sure to have them clean up beginning at 2:25pm. Paintings should go in the drying cabinet, palates should go on the East window sill, and brushes need to be cleaned and placed handle-side down into jars with like-sized brushes.

PER 8- Yearbook
