DRAWING- Kids in the hall

This week, you're going to use the skills you've been learning about "sighting" angles and relationships, and using a "basic-unit" to record your perceptions as accurately as they could.

Read the directions on pp. 152-153 in our textbook, Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain.
Prepare a page in y our 18x24 Newsprint pad by giving yourself a 2 inch margin, toning the format with a graphite stick, and including cross-hairs. Then, take a viewfinder and a drawing board and chose a hallway.

My expectation is that you will be silently drawing all class period, each Drawing Class all week. You will not be talking, loud, disruptive, wandering around, or engaging students from other classes or study hall. Responsible, Respectful and fun to be around. If Mr. Straight, or another teacher has to talk to you or loges a complain with me about you, you will receive an F on this assignment. I will try to circulate around all of you in order to offer help as much as I can.

As always, I will be flexible on the deadline if enough of you need extra time- but for now, anticipate finishing on Friday, Nov. 5,  and Critiquing them in class on Monday, Nov. 8
